Got it thx haven't been on web board in forever lol, everything is fb groupsHERMAN BIX wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 5:07 am Ahh.
Not a shiny silver but a grey, like Panzer Grey ?
If so, these could be very old type versions that were for Matorro Sturmtigers .
A pic would help.
Try takinga picute on your phone/device
Save that to you photo files.
on the forum site you will see below the test box you write in a small box with Attachments on it.
Hit that and it give you options to select photo album
select that and choose you required pics by tapping on each one(s)
wait for them to load(you will see each one progress until they are all ready) and then hit the SUBMIT button under your test box.
They should go in.
The file limit is 3MB each pic so take a pic as close up on the subject as you can..
Try that & we''ll see if you get pics to work![]()

Excellent, you got pictures to work.
Those look like old Taigen versions, definitely not Matorro ones so thats good.
They should stay together during use for ever.
No need for bearings unless you are running it constantly and hard.
The smooth ended axles with the grub screws are fine but I file a small flat on one spot so the grub screw can go in further & bear on a flat surface.
Also, dont use loctite. PVA glue works on the grub screws like a low strength thread retaining compound & still allows them to be backed out with a bit of ooomph !
I'd just run them & worry about them wearing out when it happens

I have several types and manufacturers of thread lockers, blue, green, red.
But, for some cases, I use rubber glue, yes, you heard right!
For example, I smear a screw, let it dry for 10 minutes and screw it in!
Believe me, this screw will never unscrew itself, and unscrewing it is not difficult.
Tested over the years.
