Oh yeah! Not only that! I'm a licensed seafood shipper through the health dept. I can legally ship my product anywhere. It's a pain but essential some times. I catch clams and oysters. Razor clams in the summer our crabbers use them for bait. I usually oyster or catch many names soft shell, mano, piss clams in the winter. idk what you call them up there. When I first had my own boat we shipped a load of soft shell mano clams to boston. Right now I'm not catching shit building a new clam rig.... and a tiger tank hahahahaha
Thanks for the invite! Happy to be aboard !!

Wow Very Cool! In the business we call em piss clams too. Diners know them as steamer clams or soft shell clams. Can you ship to NY? I'd love to develop any sea to table relationship/business that I can.
Ok back to Tiger tanks then. We can DM about fish...
Hello, with a name like Wisniewski I would have thought you were one of those venerable machinists from Milwaukee where I grew up. But I do not doubt that commercial fishing has given you just as great skills in all kinds of ways. I applaud your great introduction, and I am already impressed by what your photos show. I know you will have very busy times, but I hope you will be able to join in the fun here on RCTW, show off your continuing work, ask--and answer--question. Welcome!

I like the British tiger concept and appreciate your families service! My HL was almost a polish captured tiger. Thanks for the welcome!
Thank you.

Razor clams, are known as spooks over here in Scotland. Delicious steam cooked in white wine, bacon and samphire.
Tigers are alright, if you like that sort of thing.

Heyyyyyyy welcome to the forum Casey from snowy New York! Glad you made it. Tigers can wait, So you're a commercial fisherman in Maryland? That's wayyy more interesting to me if you can believe it. As I really am a Chef and so appreciate where all of my raw products and ingredients come from. We can talk fish now and mystify people with soft shell crabs. There's actually a food post or two floating around here somewhere.
Glad you made it. You're in the right place. Great community of friendly, helpful, talented and knowledgeable people here. And of course excellent resource of information to dive into.
Anton
Ive had the soft shell crab in Maryland, and in Pa. so no mystification for me !!
Probably overindulged but jeez it was worth it.
