Who should try a monochrome version?
I think what he means is perhaps you could try converting those pictures to black and white, to make them look more 'period'?

How good do those look
Making good things better, good old monochrome
I must admit that my first trip to Europe I remarked to my Wife when we got to Normandy "oh, the place is actually in colour "!!
Entire life seeing WW2 in B&W film footage then to finally be there ...........
Im keen to see how the Fallschirmjäger turn out, they have a complex paint requirement .
Having several to do myself this will be a helpful tutorial.

Hi Herman.
There are several options for me according the paintjob.
Either the Splittertarn jackets or just some shade of green.
As these guys are dressed in Winteroutfits, I think I will go for several shades of green with white insides.
No clue yet, if the Winterjackets came in the Splittertarn camo?
To be honest…..I am not very fond of painting that camo.
Made several tankers and grenadiers partially in that camo…..hmm……I am not sure whether I like it or not…..
The folds in the jackets make it a bit difficult for me to do that specific camo.
If it was just a blanket or so, with no folds, it would be a walk in the park!
I know, I hear you saying….must it always go the easy way??
I will think about it and do some research on the web also.
Rob.
