Was actually joking, I had a few packs up to a couple years ago. Light years BEHIND Nimh. Charge for a half hour only to have a minute or two of run time. The efforts we had to go through back then to keep packs in decent shape...

Your article is terrific and is a must read for many of us.

Here’s my two favorite batteries along with an awesome charger. I’m still attending Rad University. Probably will be a happy lifetime student. Image

Rad I don't dispute your technical expertise on this and also most certainly radios on the advantages of the smaller battery for vehicles like say a Kubelwagen etc but with the investment I have in NIMH batteries for each of my 20 tanks and no issues as far as running time or space issues (in fact in a lot of the tanks I like the extra weight of the 6s Nimh) whatsoever I will continue to be a luddite :D . I have left tanks turned on by mistake by accidentally hitting the power switch for days after a club meet and they still have power. Investing in the balance charger is key no matter what battery technology you are using.

That Kluosi Battery is the best I have found so far. I absolutely love them, and if I regret something, is not buying more when they were available.
For some reason, they disappeared from the market some time ago. I tried investigating and what I found, and it is probably false, is that they are being sent to both Ucranie and Russia.

Anyway, I needed more, so I tried to do some reverse enginery and I opened a pack. The cells inside were branded and of outstanding quality. I managed to get the specs and find the individual cells online.
Like two weeks ago I started ordering components and tools for making my own battery packs. Even when I believe those batteries are as safe as a battery can be, I will most likely install some special chips that will protect them from overcharge and overdischarge.

I am not aiming of making any business of it, and shipping will probably kill most deals, but if anybody needs those batteries so hard, I might be able to provide some Rad Industries batteries in a couple of months.

And also I must point that the only reason of making my own is because I am unable to find those batteries anymore.

The Kluosi brand are the ones I use. I did find them again on AliExpress before Christmas, but when I tried to order them my order got cancelled because they didn't ship in a timely manor. Ali has this shipping guarantee and if they don't ship in time they refund your money. Maybe I'll try again after the holidays calm down. They have also gotten more expensive than they were, but like you I wish I had ordered more 2S2P packs.
