You think you got corruption? Your pols are infants compared to here. The couple billion loaned by the IMF few months ago was gone the next day, and to this day Iushenko and Timoshenko in Kiev refuse to say where it went, but are asking for more from IMF.
At least in USA with the corruption you get what you payed for, IOW the new road or fire station gets built, it's just there's about a 3% pad in there for "other expenses". Hmmm. And I read of your expense scandal. Amazing, it seems most of them involved did not need the money. Interesting.

Mike, buying from USA can save you some money, especially now. However when the parcel arrives, you have to pay VAT on both the value of the goods and the cost of Post. One of the best places to buy your tanks is the AAF Museum in Danville Virginia. Good prices, and they are all tankers there also. The Museum also has a quite large selection of parts on hand for Tamiya.

There's some fine rose tinted spectacles you have there Bob, there is a reason why Detroit's Public schools are failing, and half the school district is either on administrative leave or already facing criminal charges... 3% is a drop in the bucket here

You forget, ex-pat, I'm from the deep South. We do things different there. And where the h//l is Detroit, and what is it?

We have an area like that in Jax, North Side. Called it Noah's Ark. If you dinna travel in pairs, you didn't go there. When I had to go there, even in daylight, I took one of  my friends, either  Mr Colt or Mr Beretta, safe and secure tucked under me left arm. That's legal too in the South. A lot fewer problems way down in Dixie with the somewhat loose concealed carry laws. I lived in the Historic District, and lemme tell you, there were NEVER any problems there. Heck, for years I didn't even have a key to the back door, never had to lock it. Miss Dora, my maid, had one, but I didn't. Gawd have mercy on the soul of anyone who tried to fool around the schloss, 'cause Miss Dora surely would not.
