And yes......before somebody starts complaining .....right now I am repainting all 3 uniforms in Tamiya German Grey.

I also have 2 of those escape hatches, which should come on each side of the lower hull, somewhere between the first 2 rollers.
But were they attached onto the hulls of these early StuG's too?

All 3 crew members are done, except for some red linings on their collars.
For the gunner I need to make something like a floor or so, underneath his hatches so he can have a place to stay onto.

Something in this way or so…
Thinking about lowering the other 2 too, to go with the low profile of the StuG.

What an impressive kit--aluminum yet! And you have rescued some stock HengLong/Taigen/Torro "Panzermänner" from ignominy. I would lower the two figures if possible, and I wouldn't give up those Winterketten at all. Go! Go! Go!

Asiatam in Germany used to have some early StuG parts from Profiline on their website, but that’s history too by now.
The only option these days is building your own out of polystyrene plates….
Too bad because it is such a cool vehicle indeed.

My fave Stug since building the 1/48 Bandai Stug III ausf d kit many decades ago. Angular, low slung and the Stump--what's not to like?!
That aluminum kit is crazy! What a great buy.
Oh Mr. Inkor! You wouldn't have time in your busy schedule for such a 3d printer conversion kit for the HL StugIII wouldya?
