for a pershing, the rear hatches im planning on cutting them out, oh and the front 2, move the switches up see ;)

is that the same as fleshys pershing as i have the old vents off the back from my M46 you can have and i will make them operable all you would need to do is cut the originals out and fit the new ones ;) ;)

the front hatches now they are a different problem but do-able

have you got the pershing yet??

no proberly getting it tommorow, but its just a heng long?

M46? how did you end up with them?


cheers mate, dont know what i will do, all i was planning was cut out the vents with wire (another question) then hinge them on... will put a ledge for the grill's to rest on ???

on the M46 the back deck is totally different to the pershing and the side mufflers from a bulldog are fitted also the rear sprocket is moved up and out the back further
so still got all the "cut out"bits from my H/Long pershing that you can have

which grills were you gonna do??

not grills sorry i dnt know the proper name, the venty grill things right at the back, the two big ones on either side?

and then the two front hatches... think theirs two???

He he they are the grills or engine vents/ grates
but yes i have these already cut out from the M46 build and you are welcome to them will try and figure a good way to hinge them

you take a piccie of the ones you want doing and i'll sort them

the front drivers and BOG gunners hatch are cut out using the thread and then cleaned up and the hinges fitted

on mine they lift and slide backwards like the real Mc Coy with a bit of evergreen around the hatch hole to stop them falling through

will get some better pics of mine if you like ;) ;)
