Talk about all other types of electronics here, such as batteries!

So, have you found the solution? By examining the photo of the diagram more carefully, I see that P12 and P 11 are connected by a blue line? I conclude that pairs work? Or should the P 4 (fire trigger) plug be used?

A couple of quickie questions.......

In the images I posted of the small green HL smoke control PCB....What is the small adjustable? `pot`used for (lower centre-ish) Smoke duration timer? :eh:

IS IT POSSIBLE (and if so HOW?) I can post small video clips on our posts (pictures tell a thousand words, sort of thing! ;)

 Hello all,
I am quitely cofident that my posted issue is now solved! Many thanks to those friendly folk who replied, although not directly solving this issue, your info, interest and help certainly got my `little-grey-cells` munching over ideas and ultimately came to a happy conclusion! Thanks again guys! ;)

I am now in the process of fitting my new (working) goodies to the Merkava MK4, currently disassembled, turret. (lord knows why HL decided to fit there components into the TOP section of the turret, meaning you have to work upside down, causing the nasty habit of its balls falling off!?) Still thats RC Tanking for you!

As promised in an earlier post, I WILL put up some pics for your perusal, comments and critique (be kind eh! :P ) as soon as I am happy with the results.

Hello, I would have liked to be able to answer? but I don't know this type of circuit 8O
certainly some sort of adjustment? voltage, sensitivity, smoke flow, etc.?

Oh well, perhaps I`ll just fiddle with it and see what happens!?

I wonder if any of the Heng Long experienced members, on the Heng Long forum sectiuon, can venture an answer??

Lothed to mess with it, after the hours spent getting it all to work so well right now :/

Thank you for the link, but the shipping costs increase the price ?? For the adjustment, it is possible to do the tests, but with small touches, and make a mark (paint,or others) before touching, since the We don't know what it's doing?

I just don't think the TK-16 board is very popular in this forum is all. I've pretty much tried like 6 or 7 different control boards, but have zero experience with that one and the documentation for it is crap.

Totally agree with you, tankme, which is a real shame as this mainboard IS rather very good. I`ve virtually had no issues with it and thats despite the lack of info available (had 2 so far, the first one being fitted into the Hooben Merkava MK4M that I had to return to them, after 60 days of `e-mail battling` to solve a cannon smoker issue/fault.......sound familiar, so if your watching Hooben Hobby, I think I sorted it! :shh:

I too have tried a few mainboards having never liked the HengLong electronics, especially the earlier stuff with the toy-like controllers. I like my TX-RX RC type controllers and with poor experiences with Clarke boards, plumped for IBU/2s in all my AFV`s. These boards, although excellent, were creeping up in price and complexity, so, purely by accident, when looking for another TX-RX type mainboard I came across the CS TK-16 mainboard. The rest is history ;)

So far, except with a few `duff information` hick-ups I`ve found it quite intuative to work with and quite easy to swop over with any HL electrics. As you say
written documentation is :poop: and can be badly translated, but with more use and experimentation, things can only get better, no!?
