Recently for S.C.C.15 I made a Tamiya mix I found on another forum: 5 parts XF-81 "Dark Green 2 (RAF), 1 part XF-71 "Cockpit green (IJN)", 1 part Olive Green. I will use it to slightly differentiate between American and British (Polish) vehicles.

That Tamiya formula is the latest Mike Starmer mix. I'm using Tamiya XF-61, 2 parts XF-62 and 2 parts XF-3 mainly because that's what my Firefly is, but I may mix up the other one to see the difference. They do say that the one I'm using may be a touch too dark. Dean had sprayed some Buff or sand over it very lightly to simulate fade and dust. I was able to do the same and blend in the repainted area.

I painted my Churchill with this mix and I should reckon it's quite nice. Even if it doesnt matter at all because once you do the weathering, you're far from the original color.

To reply to your question, as I made a Polish M5 Stuart in the past, I think they were in the original US Olive Drab because they still had the US serial markings on the side. If you look at the British stuff like the M10 Achilles or the Sherman Firefly, they don't have the US markings because they were repainted with SCC15. I'm not claiming it's right all the times but most of the times it was like that if you study WWII pictures. I would go with US OD for a Polish Stuart !
