Re: CCKW 1/16
Good news, we have returned from Normandy and got loads of photos to help with detailing of these CCKW
I will crack on and get a chassis drawn up and make a few and get some running videos.
Watch this space.

Just need to build the axles now and get the suspension system built up.
SHould make a really nice capable scale truck with the 370 and transfer case

"I will be in line to order that (or a couple/few) when they are ready for sale!" Well put, Ecam.
This one is MINE! MINE! ALL MINE! Mouhahahaha!
(And I am trying to figure out where I will find the money for more.)
Get 'em while they're hot, for to us "Murricans," the CCKW, deuce-and-a-half, was one of the yeomen of WWII.

Some more pictures of the truck being built up

The bonnet(hood) is put in place with magnets, so can be easily removed for access to battery tray and where the electronics will sit
Just have the final wiring and driveshaffts to make up before she ready for a test

Re: CCKW 1/16
Yes, that might be mine, unless Will is keeping one for himself, too. The wooden stake body bed is not going to be painted on mine, even if inaccurate. It's too pretty. (Besides, all the '50s and '60s stake trucks I drove had unfinished wooden beds. Yeah, I know, ...hardly a reason for inaccuracy.)
