if your puma has the original gears worn out, order new ones but you have to do everything with original gears

Hi Met5! Thanks for the reply.
I stripped the threads in one gear on the shaft. but cut a new one in a new hole. i don't really like the quality of them, i'm trying to pick up new ones without modifying the design.

Why do you regret replacing the gears?

because the problem is not the gears, the problem is in the fact that no one is holding the gears in place. You have to put shims that make the bevel gear rest on the internal race of the bearing......

Thanks, Met5. I was thinking of gluing the gears with loctite. But now I'm thinking bushing or washers.

The tie rod lugs have arrived. They are excellent quality, however, I will have to pick up or fabricate new tie rods. The tie rods on the wheels turned out to have different thread directions, and the pivot rods will have to be matched/made to length.

Made some of the axles myself.
At the moment, the puma turns like this:

Note how the servo drive pad wobbles.

The internal and external wheels travel different circumferences so they cannot have the same steering angle. Metal Origin did not think about it but the modeler can remedy the error.

Thank you Met5!
I searched in internet about puma
I searched the internet, tried to find a video of its turning. But in all the videos, it was either going straight or it was already wrecked.

Slowly continuing my projects. Still haven't decided what to do with the bones. On the cougar. I'm thinking of using the upgrade version, pre standing part of the cup.
Also, the package from 35rctank arrived and I started another project. I attached some photos. Its a very interesting project, but in my opinion its very fragile and not for outdoor play.

For the tiger, I've made working coolers, and I'm almost done assembling the engine.
I plan to make partitions, but with the size of the engine this may be a problem.

There are some questions with the puma. is it worth cutting the cups and is it possible to buy them in case of failure?

I also started the 35rctank conversion for the 251 and I would agree...probably not going to take a lot of abuse.
