Third leg, fine leg, slips, gully, point, square leg, cover, mid-wicket, mid-on, mid-on, long off, and long on. Bowler, and wicket keeper. The wicket keeper is like the bloke who stands behind the bloke with the round bat In American rounders (Baseball)

Now? Can someone explain the differences between rounders and baseball, and why only American play in the World Series?

Not counting the bowler I counted 21 different fielding positions. Not bad when the team has 11 members.

HERMAN BIX wrote: Mon Mar 11, 2024 10:45 pm Damn you Mr Rat, if that isn’t THE most infuriating but correct description of Cricket I don’t know what is

Add to that a game can be played for a week and no one wins !!
Forgot to add both team go in and out twice, only then is it declared a draw. Or if it is in the UK weather can stop play, when a draw is declared..

Of course, by "American", you mean North American, riiiiight? Toronto Blue Jays are two time "World" champions, and rumour has it the Expos might be returning to Montreal! So long as their giant pretzels and hotdogs on grilled buns return too, I'm all for it!
Cricket and baseball--never got the attraction...but then I love F1!
Bensy--the Heng Long Bulldog, PZIII and T34/85 are solid running tanks.

Mike.
