Congratulations on the new addition. I do love the Panther G. Keep us updated on your journey through all things Panther. As mentioned there are only a few niggling points with the Panther G aesthetically. But overall it has been a solid runner for me. Some people have issues with it de-tracking but this can be remedied with drive shaft support bearings, proper track tension and judicious operation on challenging surfaces.

My efforts have been delayed since my tank was shipped with the wrong accessary pack.
and it's Chinese New Year so double

I added a bit of crud here; a little filth there and topped it off with some home made rust but I can't complete.

Like the Das Reich journey from Montauban to Normandy, I'm delayed but I'll get there.

Ahh yes, nuthing a cast for 6 weeks wont cure
