I see the mortar carriage will recoil along the linear bearings in the hull ?

Tank79, you are accomplishing remarkable results. Then, too, that bottom photo of the three above compensates for my astigmatism. :D

Must have been a PITA back then to move that monster from A to B.
I‘ve seen huge mortars made to transport on railwaytracks, which made it a bit easier to move around I guess.
Nice project anyway.
