Incredible weathering and details on such a small package, impressive!

Wow! You do have just the right touch of weathering on the Kettenrad. It really looks like metal. I like the fuel spills, too. Even after five generations, my stubborn German heritage screams
Reinheit!
Reinheit! seeing the spills' not having been cleaned up.

Thanks guys for your comments

but I´ll have to mention, that painting and weathering wasn't my job; it was done by a friend. He has already won several competitions.

I can imagine modelers here in the U.S. yelping
"Cool!" "
Wow!" "
Oh, Man!" when they see your
Kettenrad in action. Here's a link to an auction, six years ago, but just for fun.
https://www.mecum.com/lots/327465/1946-nsu-kettenkrad/ I always thought the term is
Kettenrad, but now I first saw,
KettenKrad. Which spelling is accurate?

You are right with the correct Ketten
krad; that is the short term of
Ketten-
Kraft-
Rad and means tracked powered wheel or bike.
It was pretty hard to cover all stuff inside the less space; pretty cramped...
It would be great to have a original 1:1 Kettenkrad on hand

Yeah, Kettenkrad is correct. There is that dude that owns one that uses it to run down to the local corner shop to grab some groceries...

Thank you: das Kettenkrad for Ketten-Kraft-Rad makes it clear to me. I knew it was a compound, but I though it was a compound of only two nouns, die Ketten and das Rad.
Oh, that fellow using a Kettenkrad to pick up at a convenience store is a hoot! Everyone on RCTW should see the one-minute video.

Hi, what a beautiful machine. Would it be possible to buy or download the files for 3D printing of it?
With kind regards
