Hello Martin from the West Coast of Scotland. Much respect to anyone who has served in our forces. I take my hat off to you. Hopefully you will contribute and give us your wisdom.
Re: Hello from Sacramento
Welcome aboard from an old navy corpsman 1981-1985 USS Independence CV-62. My Grandpa served in Europe during WW2 in a motor pool fixing equipment, repairing vehicles and sighting in rifles. He lived to the ripe old age of 89.

My Wife is a Scot, from Motherwell. Thank you for the Welcome! I plan on a thread for my Jumbo Sherman, which is getting close.

Re: Hello from Sacramento
Thanks to him and his work toward the greater cause. I have many great uncles who served, volunteers all. One saw the first flag raised on Iwo Jima, as I am told the famous photo was staged, one at the Battle of the Bulge, they lived, but rarely spoke about it. Another on my Dad's side who brought back a Sauer 38H that he took from a German. Really cool little 32 Cal hand gun. Thanks to all Vets. All services. Appreciate you welcomeand all other also.

Jesus Christ! Keep it down! If people find out Scotland is not filled with ne'er-do-wells, the place will be overflowing with Sassenachs!

Wait, what you mean Scotland isn't all just like Trainspotting?
