The great thing about the Stug and the PZ111 is there are lots of interchangeable parts anything to save money in a hobby that you have already acknowledged is rather like a black hole bottomless ,

58? 60? I dimly remember those. There I was this morning, digging my mailbox out from the snow left by the plow truck after our 14 inch snowstorm, lopping off branches of the tree that leaned over and wrapped the mailbox in a tangle. I asked myself, "What am I doing at my age?" Then I thought, hey, "I can still do it!" (shovel and lop branches, that is )

I think that is why many of our generation flock to Florida and Arizona (or some Schmucks - Hawaii).

Getting older in winter, gotta love it but I do spend a lot of time on snowmobiles and if shoveling and snowblowing is the price to pay, so be it. Great time for hobbies though.

And to jarndice, I thought of that plus it seems to make a better pair than getting a Tiger 1 at this time. Maybe even a Panzer IV as they were produced at the same time as well.
