Hi Dave from the other old member, although I suspect we are all pretty close in age. Talking of large metal tanks I was at the Model engineers show at Olympia in the early 1990s and saw a large metal Jagdpanther. It was over a metre long and I recall driven by a Honda 50 or 90cc moped motor through a Morris (?) diff. Memory is hazy so I may have this all wrong. Does this ring any bells with anyone?

I remember seeing a  scratch built 1/9th scale cheiftain around that time at Ally Pally , that to was powered by an IC engine ,. I dont recal a 1/6th J/P at that time . There again i cant remember what i did yesterday half the time  :-[
