Well Matt it's alot to do with lack of funds that inspires me to scratchbuild, also the enjoyment I get out of creating something from nothing. I look at something and think this could be made to look like this or that.

This halftrack and the 250 halftrack are on hold at the moment as I have been doing some commisioned work, and well I need the money to support my 1/6th habit

Hi mate love this build . Can I ask were did you get the tracks and wheels from please ? .I keep thinking of building a 1:16 version or RC my 1:18 one like yours . But I keep hearing rumours there brining a 1:16 RC one out some time ? Im waiting

The running gear was given to me by a Beta tester of the FOA half track. Panzerwerk sells the track links, road wheels and sprockets separately

Hi mate , thanks just checked the website but hes not taking orders until hes caught up with his existing ones . Im out of work at the mo so probaly cheeper to make a 1:16 version as Ive seen the metal tracks for that ? unless you have any idea of costs please . Will look forward to seeing this finished and the 250.

My 250 I have backdated to a 253 and it is finished I had it on my club's diorama at Old Fort York on June 12th/2010. The Toroonto Modelers Society had their big show there again this year and we were invited to come and display again this year. The club OOSC(ttawa One Sixth Club) won 4 awards agin this year. One was a gold award for my scratchbuilt Brengun Carrier. There are pics of the diorama on the Sixth Army Group Forum.
Yes I do most of my work on the diningroom/kitchen table... LOL
