No it’s just me on the elevation stick! But I want yo try and put the tk 16 by cs with stabilisation into this.

I’ve also tested the gearboxes with the bearings in the final drive shafts on short grass. Stoney gravel/sand.

They clicked a couple of times, and lost a track, but didn’t strip or break.

Next bit, using semi gloss acrylic rattle can to make the green plastic look like paint, and give homogeneity to the factory paint job, trigger warning you could die of boredom!

I’be started the testing with the bearings on the plastic gear boxes, I think it’s better, the carpet didn’t kill it, like it has in the past with other plastic boxes.

i am curious, does those plastic gear boxes typically run quieter than the full metal one ?

I realized that you didn't damage the gearbox with the spinning leopard, but any sign of damage to the carpark rather ?

Hi all!

Thanks all for putting up with this! And thanks for the far to kind comments , I was pleased with the weathering only being applied with one product and a brush, thought it might have been a bit disastrous!
The plastic gear boxes are probably the same decibels as the metal ones, maybe a bit less noisy, and the carpets fine! Knackered anyway have 2 kids!!

The screw hole thing is entirely for someone who doesn’t want to repaint the tank from factory, and just wants to hide the god awful screw placements.
