Sounds fantastic! I'll bet it was the best job you ever had?
At a recent tank day I was at, even the regular armour drivers were hopping out after their exhibition drives (and they were really giving their tanks the beans), grabbing a water and going "Whew!"
You are right, these things take a lot of effort to drive, you lucky duck!
