The techniques in the video are cool, but if I were a tank commander I wouldn't want a big ass tarp over my hatches hindering my escape from the vehicle. The placement of the tarp and camo just aren't smart or realistic, but a lot of modelers do things to make them "look" good with no regard for reality. It's his model so he can make it however he sees fit.

Of course the video is for showing "how to". To each his own.

"Smart" and "Realistic" goes out the window when considering predominantly adult males playing with plastic RC toys. Especially when the wives are looking in. :D

Would not want the tarp or nets over the engine cooling grills either.
Apparently the wife informed me that white, 15 denier fish net stockings would be better :{
