I have watched a bunch of vids on the application. Years ago it seemed there was more info available and then I was away from this niche and came back it seems as though it is hard to find info and I don't mean just with this surfacer, I mean all aspects of this hobby. I have been on the RCU forums since 2011 and that forum has subsided a little.

Alright these pics don’t do the paint any justice. I primered , then used the textured, followed by the OD I think it turned out better then I thought it would. Very subtle

Another little thing to be aware of Mr surfacer is that it doesn't play well with enamel paints :eh: acrylic paints are fine though

The results look great to me! So which RustOleum textured paint did you use? And, indeed, Tamiya's TS-28 is fine.

Thank you: I will look for that specific paint. (In case others are puzzled: RustOleum makes a number of textured paints with different textures and colors.)

You are correct, I went with black, it gave the OD a darker finish which is what I was looking for. I sprayed gray and black on cardboard and tried the Vallejo OD and then another piece I used the Tamiya and then compared them.
