Yes that 3D model is complete made from scratch ;) but that's another project for later! ;D

Small update, the HL turret rotation system now fits and works. The upper hull fits as well, with only some minor cutting of the HL lower needed.
Next job is to think on how to fix the upper hull to the lower hull.

Also a redesign of the HVSS suspension. Now stronger and fitted with 2x 4mm bearings for each wheel.

Finally some more work done on the M4A1(76)W HVSS. I've resized the hull to the correct dimensions (was a bit too large) and made the wider HVSS fenders.
As I want this tank to be finished eventually I already sanded the entire upper hull in preperation for the putty which will emulate the cast hull surface.

Some more sanding done and playing around with putty gives a pretty good cast hull effect. Finished with a coat of primer.

I've resized the turret for better proportions in relation to the hull.

So reprinted the entire turret, then some sanding, putty, more sanding, primer and some colour and it's almost starting to look like an actual Sherman ;)

Very nice build! I've started work on designing M51 parts as for me it's the ultimate Sherman.
