What a great subject tank. As I recall they built only two, and one burned. I briefly considered one, but finding all those running gear parts was a killer. Hope to see more of your work....

Update from current work still loads to do but it runs well and I think it's starting to look the part . Yes the proportions and scale might not be 100% but I am happy with it so far. Photo shows it next to my Abrams

Just a thought, you could use a bit of fishing rod as a barrel. The taper and light weight is handy.

you are second to suggest it but i have been unable to find anything suitable don't like the current barrel but it needs to be tappered and hard to figure out what would work any thoughts/ help on this from anyone appreciated just don't know where to look as not into fishing

Walmart sells a 3- or 4-piece graphite fishing pole for around $10 or so. The tapered pieces collapse into each other, and each piece is about 3' long, so there are plenty of different sizes to see what works best for your needs.
