M is the Russian designation for 'Modernised'
Its very much improved from the T90 and T90A both in gun, optics, ammo storage, ammo type, live defence and armour type, so it is better by a lot.
Still not as good as the almost mythical T14 but still a good machine.
Its the combination of all the new features that Im sure the Western defence experts would like to assess.
The Indian made version is for sure a watered down export model, so not a lot to compare there.

Be interesting to see where it ends up !

I have a hazy memory that a few years back a North Korean pilot took the latest Russian jet fighter south to claim the bounty offered by the South Korean Government,
The Americans stripped it down to the last nut bolt and rivet took all the photographs and drawings before rebuilding it and giving it back.
The North Korean pilot got his bounty which was I think his own weight in gold before disappearing into obscurity.
