Hi Blake - luckily my 1/16th kit was the European Kubelwagen and was R/C already, although I would like to get a North African Kubelwagen and convert it to R/C :)
Hi Guys,
Bob, thecommadnernj, here in the USA. I run my RC Kubelwaben often and have even mounted a wireless camera in it. I drive it via a TV or a mini monitor/TV on the transmitter. Is is great fun. Stick with the ETO Kubel tires. I run the Kubel in the loose dirt and sand at home and in danville VA. The tires have very little traction and I enhanced the grip by notching out the lugs in the ETO tires for improved traction. The desert tires are the slick balloon style made to float atop sand and have no traction on dirt. Paint it as you wish, ETO or DAK. But the balloon tires are terrible for driving it around on anything other than hard surfaces. I M H O....... Bob
