Nice Idea for a model. If you wondering what matkings on Russian AFVs mean:
Z - Eastern forces
Z in square - forces from Crimea
O - forces from Belarus
V - Marines
X - Chechens
A - Special Forces

Looks like they are somewhat uniformed in some units but still looks like garden pergola.

That looks more like a roof rack than serious defensive armour . I'm not sure how much use that would be against a javelin missile or an old fashioned molotov. It looks to me as useful as an umbrella in a hurricane. BTW I wonder if the Z is the new bullseye on target practice ranges?

Agree. Way too weak. This one below seen on Twitter is actually embarrassing.

I saw a video a few days ago, the caption was 'Ukranian gypsy steals Russian tank', and showed a tank being towed backwards down the road by a tractor.

They don't look damaged, possibly they ran out of fuel (seems they have a problem with this) or the crews decided 'screw this for a game of soldiers' and wandered off to surrender. From what I have gleaned from the truth/propaganda/lies the whole war doesn't seem to be going down well with the conscripts.

Looks like their reactive armour is made of shoeboxes sprayed green. Easy to model.
