I'm not familiar with that hull. Does the engine deck come off or did you have to cut it out? Examining the pictures, the seam is a great fit if separate piece.
And YES, the gun shield on those have always bothered me.

The engine deck is a separate piece, held on with screws.

Do you have links to the gun shield and breech casting? I am drooling and thinking about getting to my M10 after the little 1/4 Ton 4X4 is done.

Thanks to a link provided by Ecam, I've figured out how to hide the elevation servo, which was located at the back of the turret originally. I want it hidden, since I'm detailing the turret interior.
Now I just need to work out barrel recoil. Recoil servo on the stock turret is hidden, mounted on the bottom of the breech. That's the original plan. I was planning on having just the barrel recoil, but I think that since I'm going to detail the turret intetior, I may as well make the whole gun reoil, like the real piece does. I have an idea of how to do it, just need to see if I can.

Glad that helped.
Now, second or third time I've seen this picture, and I still can't figure out the "white ornamental gate" thing is on the turret roof!

He also has the engine deck and exhaust with M10 deflector. I've decided to use the M4A2 deck by Woz, instead of the M10 deck, as it's actually more accurate. I am going to remove the Panzer Vs. Tanks gun cradle and use it, since the barrel fits it better, and again, it has a better cast appearance then the stock parts.

Rain hood. If so I made my set too short.
Never mind, I went back to the original picture where you clearly stated RAIN HOOD!

3D printed turret tarp supports from Woz, still on their sprue. They're what the indents on the inside of the counterweights are for. The 3 short ones are what's on the roof over the gun.
ETA: Just realized, the rear supports in the pic are bent.

Best picture I was quickly able to find. You can see how they were mounted to the turret rear.
The duckbill had more, and they were mounted differently, only pic I could find is a model.

I did a set on my wedge version. But I've found some pictures of missing rods, with and without mounting brackets. So not in a hurry for the duck bill.
Thanks
