Definitely a shame, even though FB will delete military themed posts that they deem to go against their so called "community standards" people still insist on staying there.Lenny Warren wrote:Welcome... most members of my Militaria forums prefer FB, it's a shame as it's useless for keeping track of info like you say...
Thank you! This is the version that I modeled mine after, the recently refurbished M4A1 76(w) in Belgium.PainlessWolf wrote:Good Morning and Welcome!
Great build there on 'In The Mood'.
I built one yrs ago using Mato's 1st Sherman, the old M4A1 76mm WS. Required a different barrel, upgraded Mato electronics ( for some reason, I wanted to keep the BB cannon ) and a Detail Build. Turned out very well for the day. Better options available now for sure. Looking forward to your Build Thread and more Pics of that beautiful Sherman.

Painless
P.S. A pic from the old thread now that I'm home
Thank you Eric!EAO wrote:Hello Dan,
Welcome and that's a very nice Sherman you have there too! Facebook, ugh, I'd rather put a lit cigar out in my eye socket than join! But that's just me!Glad to have you! Best Forum going and best group of guys anywhere IMO! Enjoy!
Cheers,
Eric.

It's a bit of a yawn, to be honest.
Pretty smart Sherman, by the way.
In all the years I have been a member of this Forum I cannot recall anyone being censured for "Bigging up" Warfare,Armor_Group_South wrote:Definitely a shame, even though FB will delete military themed posts that they deem to go against their so called "community standards" people still insist on staying there.Lenny Warren wrote:Welcome... most members of my Militaria forums prefer FB, it's a shame as it's useless for keeping track of info like you say...
Indeed, I lost a militaria group with over 25k members due to FB being idiots. Can't tell the difference between history and neo-nazis.Armor_Group_South wrote:Definitely a shame, even though FB will delete military themed posts that they deem to go against their so called "community standards" people still insist on staying there.Lenny Warren wrote:Welcome... most members of my Militaria forums prefer FB, it's a shame as it's useless for keeping track of info like you say...
