Finally got the parts to build the bottom hull. Everything fits as I wanted it to. After modifying the gearboxes a bit, they seem to fit as well. Very happy so far!

WOW, your lower hull looks fantastic.

I have to ask though, I thought the bogies were equally spaced? It appears that there is more space between the front and center than between the center and aft or does it look that way?

Risky, you noted that "...here you can see the Heng Long turret ring and rotation motor," but I see that you have rigged the hull for a sturdily-mounted servo. Is it that you are designing for both?

I have limited experience with servos, but I like them--quiet, compact, smooth, controllable. Am I right about the servo advantages?

Yes you are correct - I'm designing for both!

As I'm going to use the OpenPanzer TCB, I want to use servos for rotation and elevation, because like you said, they are compact. With a control board like the OpenPanzer one, you can also specify the amount of rotation you want, the speed etc. You can do a lot more customisation!

But I'm also aware that lots of people want to use the Heng Long electronics, that's why I want to give them that option as well

More progress. As this is a prototype, I'm building it kind of rough with minimal cleaning up to see how everything fits, that's why there are some small gaps in some places. This will be fixed later!
