I'm on a promise!

If Santa can find one, he says I've got a Hush Hush coming. No, not 1/16 but it should fit in okay.

Merry Christmas everyone and here's to a better 2021 :)

well, I would be ultimately happy if we finally get connected to the powergrid here, so we can finish the house that we are building around my hobby space :D

Dear Santa,

I need:

1. to continue with my many 1/16 projects.
2. An opportunity to kiss my sweetheart in a darkened theater without our masks getting in the way.
3. Money and skills to make both 1 and 2 happen.

Unless your Tardis is heading in reverse, GJ, I think we're hoping 2022 will be better than the last two years  I'll slurp to that prospect!.
(Somehow the image of the dissolute cowboy, Lee Marvin, in 'Cat Ballou' comes to mind, as he sits atop his equally drunken horse :haha: )

Santa is bringing me three weeks off work over Christmas this year so hopefully I'll get a few days to in there somewhere to make some solid progress on my Jagdpanther build.

Some years back a New York journalist asked the American, Soviet and British representative's at the UN what their Christmas wishes were, The American wished for peace and goodwill to all men, the Russian wished for a complete ban on all Nuclear weapons, and the Brit wished for a new dressing gown and a pair of warm gloves :haha:
Me , I hope that Will and Cath get a 251 to me in the New Year and that the Covid virus recedes into history
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Would that be a Hornby Hush Hush? Mine is supposed to be here in the next few days, only taken 2 years!

Spot on Dude! Mine is with Hermes now so it could be another two years! Then there's the wait for the streamliner W1. However, they are easier to find than a HL T-72! The only choice is from China, so next year delivery, or the UK crooks who demand a mortgage!

Humph! Merry Christmas.....

I had confirmation from Gaugemaster that mine has been despatched via Royal Mail today, so hopefully get it early next week. I too have ordered the streamlined version, originally had the garter blue one on order, then saw that they were doing it in the silver jubilee livery so ordered that. Which actually reminds me, I'm not sure I ever cancelled the garter blue....
Only other one I'm waiting on is the Stephensons Rocket with mail coach pack.

I'm struggling to find any HL tank at a price I'm willing to pay. I remember I got my first tank for £85 with 2.4GHz control only a few years ago, now they seem to start at £150, with a lot of people asking similar for 2nd hand 27MHz models!
