If you are talking about ww2, then no. Europe has just left the horse and cart era, and there wasn't enough traffic to justify building double width bridges.

After driving over there, most of the place is flat out coping with tour buses, let alone Tanks !

Is that a Buell? Don't see that inverted caliper design often.

It certainly is, good spotting, other clue is the badly flaking paint on the rim! I’m sure I’ve seen a photo somewhere of an old Norton or something with the inverted caliper setup but can’t remember where.
