I remember my first visit well Mick. I was just 8yrs old and attended with my junior school 'School Journey' week. In those days visitors were allowed onto the exhibits so each tank, in turn, was covered in shouting bratts, with 'snogging' and groping going on inside the turrets. Such filth! 8O

I do remember, despite these distractions, being impressed by the sight of the Churchill which looked impenetrable. If only. Unfortunately, throwing a pot at Poole Pottery to take home for mum was the highlight of the week. I was only 8!
