A quick update of the hub removal saga.

I’ve tried superglue remover, acetone and gently warming the hub with a soldering iron, none of which made any difference. I’ve also tried running a new scalpel blade around the joint between the wheel and the hub, but there’s not enough gap to get the blade in.

The hubs remain well and truly glued on.

Does anyone have any bright ideas please? It just seems a shame that unless I can find a solution I’m having to spoil the ship for a ha’penth of tar.

Or, can Taigen / Torro compatible road wheels be bought in assembled? If so from where?

Razor saw? Maybe a bit extreme but at this point I would probably try something as heavy handed as that.

Do you think that I’d be able to get to the bearings if I did that and would I be able to fit a magnet to the hub?

I’m very much a newbie.
