Very smart
I am thinking about getting one to make into a RC tank for my own collection. How do the tracks hold up to usage?
Great work from both of the conversions i have seen, but i have to say i do like the hatches being able to open them up :)

The tracks on conversions from plastic display models aren't as robust as those on dedicated r/c tanks. The Renault's seem strong because the track pins are relatively thick. I did two PzKpfw 1 conversions, and the pins were very thin, so I replaced the tracks with metal ones.

I did a short video clip of the FT driving around in my backyard. Way too fast, but until a company makes one we can buy....

Another short clip, with some editing for color and speed.
