it should be a very simple job to swap the new turret for the old.(Heng Long and Taigen were for many years the same company :haha: :haha: )
It is available in i/r or bb versions both are about £75 plus post and Dom @ rctank.de is an extraordinarily helpful and trustworthy fellow
Oh great, just what I need... another shop who's invoices I have to hide from SWMBO... :/

hmmm, I am interested, does it work without cristals when converting to a SU 152?

Welcome on board. Enjoy the company!

I'm just collecting parts to change one of my KV-1 into a KV-85. Like Tankme and a few others here, building a full set of WW2 Russian tanks has become an obsession. Did l say obsession? I didn't mean that. Of course not.

"Obsession" is such a harsh term... I prefer "razor-like unyielding focus"... I'm not obsessed at ALL. Also don't have a T-34-85 in my AliExpress shopping cart. Because SWMBO would not approve. On the subject of the KV-1; I was playing some War Thunder today, and decided to test-drive with a KV-1B for a bit. It's the same up-armoured version of the cheapo Heng Long beastie I got saturday. And I noticed a problem...

"Komrade Engineer, why is exhaust smoke from our glorious engine coming out of the rear light of our proud product of the Motherland?"

First I thought it was an inaccuracy in the game (not uncommon) but after some more research...
Yeah, someone is going to the gulag...

TTFN,
Rob

That one would be easy to explain - they bought the light and its wiring from Lucas :haha: :haha: :haha:

Goodness, Rob, you sure are welcome! I wonder what your IQ score might be. Your English is just like that of a US resident, and your modeling skills make me jealous. What is more, you seem to have a subtle sense of humor. You wrote: "...there's a pretty good dyke between us and that... so fingers crossed. " Now when I was a boy, I was taught that the Dutch boy put his finger in the dyke to hold the water back. Now I find you that all he does is cross his fingers!
