I wish you, Catherine and Willi, many, many more years of good health and growing love. Nothing is more important than the joyful care one gives to a good marriage. Thank you for putting up the wedding picture, too. I'm an old sucker for those.

Gosh, ten years, been 45 for me
But we never bothered to get married.

Ahem, SOG: "...been 45... ut we never bothered to get married." I don't know about British common law, but in the US, legally--well--it doesn't make much difference now.

In the UK, the default if you are married is 50/50 ownership. Unmarried it belongs to the one that holds the receipts. Negotiation is possible but at costs so high it's rarely worth it! Relationships. Great when they are great
