the oil leaks look like the real thing
thats the trouble with the upper hull, its just tooo wide and no matter what type of mod you do, will not look any good without cuttimg it up. I took 25mm (1") out of mine, then all the other inaccuracies hit you in the face eg: back plate slope and turret overhang etc etc... ::)  ::)

Thanks for your comments . Yer I know I wanted the newer HL Panther G but it seems a long way of . The original idea with this was purely a wreck and I was going to leave the top . But I liked how the bottom looked . But once you put the top on its ruined . So Ive decided to follow your leed . I to have reduced the width by 25mm (from your post) But like you say it throws up more things to do . Its like opening a can of worms  ::) . Can I ask how did you cut the bottom  ? just reduce it the same amount as the top ? I don't intend to match the quality of your tank .But I realy like scratch building . I think its an important part of the hobby . I scratch built a late war commanders cupola for a Tiger 1 its not perfect but not to bad ( In HL build section Chunks Tiger re build). I have put a note on this build that it was your idea I'm following as I don't want to take credit for what you did.

A little more today . Cut out front hatch holes and turret ring hole . Ive also glued the top part to the rest .Why do we do these things  :-\ ?

Just did a little to the top today . Filled the spaces with styrene and put the circular grills on .

Just tidyed the top up a bit and filled gaps and altered bottom so it matches the top . Just need narrower Panther tracks now .still going but slow  ::)

Had a go at altering the rear panel so its at a more correct angle . Again working roughly along the lines of Gras post. Theres still more to do  :-\

Opened the engine hatch today this was a change of mind . It wants tidying up a bit . I havent decided if to fit the top half of the engine yet . But I want all the switches etc to be located here should I re fit the electronics . I may fit them low and make a covering engine piece
