Following with interest and looking forward to your kit, Tomas.
Given Attracks is interested in developing metal track & sprockets for your new Cromwell, this will be a home run in new kit offerings for 2021.

Fantastic work

I will be very interested in a kit when you get them rolling and one day I might even find some spare time again so I can build it.

Thanks, guys.
The hull is almost complete.
Have to reprint engine cover, but its normal, when i make prototypes.
Almost all parts on the pictures are at least version 2.
CAD files have even 6 or 8 versions before first test print.
Its big assembly with hunderds of parts, so i am unable to catch all problems in PC.
Nevertheless, prototype is growing fast.Going to prepare that tracks finally.
I have a lot of photos.I dont want to spam all that big pictures here.
If you want to see them, use this link.Attaching only one picture for the illustration.

Very nice! Just ran through your photo gallery.
Aside from fasteners bearings & shafts, what metal parts, if any, will come with the kit?
Also could you offer some details on how you plan to employ a track tensioner? That tends to be a sticking point for me given what I experienced with another brand that shall remain nameless here.

Motors, servos, magnets, track pins and few other things.
Basically anything needed for the building, excepting control unit, smoke, sound, transmitter and receiver.
Track tensioners will be fully reinforced with screws. They will work like real Cromwell tensioners.
They are designed to be as durable as possible.
Have some news.Engine covers and the exhaust.
Going to assemble turret and tracks.
Have more finished parts, but i dont have time to make photos of all that things everyday.
You can see the complete photoalbum in this link:

Most excellent work, I see you’re putting the resin printer to good use on the detail parts.
Put me down for the STL’s please

Cheers

The suspension housing truly follows the pattern of the original full-size Mk IV.

Yes.I am trying to follow the original as much as possible.
Apperance of the suspension springs is different, of course.
Same with the parts, used to mount that springs.
Swing arms are close to the original, but some shapes are changed for better durability and because of that springs.
Suspension springs will be 30-35mm long, diameter 8mm and 0,8-1mm wire diameter. It must be tested all together to find perfect springs.
Anyway, tension of that springs can be fine-tuned by moving that spring-holder part.
Armor plate uppon the suspensions can be removed anytime to get access to the suspension system.
Its fixed with screws, not with the glue.
This is a track tensioner from the outside.
Following original as much as possible.
There will be still some limitations and some compromises, but i am trying to do my best.
