Hello ericwilliam, northern neighbor to this Wisconsonite. I agree: do check out the CanAm tank club at https://can-amrctankclub.com/. And, yes, I agree too, about the Panther F. I jumped on the Taigen one as soon as it was available here in the States. I'd bet you already found this site:https://dgsselkirk.wixsite.com/dgsmilitaryhobby and this one: https://www.taigentanks.com/

Hi, Jarndice, "The German Panther factory ... was relatively undamaged the British Officer in command to give the workforce something to do ordered them to complete the Tanks still on the line and a number of these brand new Panthers were sent to the UK." Do you recall where you got this interesting information? Is there more? Drool, drool...

I think, Prof., you'll find quite a few references to these Panthers in related Tank Museum (Bovington) videos. Their Panther is, in fact, one of the ones completed under British supervision. You can check this video out, for starters.

Sorry for derailing your intro at such an early stage, Eric; but, you'll find it's a common occurrence here... :D

Jarndice is right, Eric: I can derail more threads than I do my trains. @)
