Another fantastic tutorial. The written and pictured word as one. Very helpful, Mr. Max. Beautiful work.

Bravo on both the look of the tools and the placement--just stuffed in higgldy-piggldy. What a small but effective touch of realism.

MaxMekker,

Another amazing model! Love the look of that camo, and the detail truly puts it over the top! Top notch as always!

So today i repainted the rear plate for my JP. From chipped Dunkel Gelb, to 3 tone to match the rest of the tank.
With these paints we have now its just keep going. They dry so fast , and i like to go back and forth, modulating and taking care of overspray.
The jack and primer red parts needs a little more work( weathering) the stovage tube got a round of chipping and the hit marks got some paint to.

Hope you like it

Very realistic in every way! Especially love the dent in the stowage tube. Nice touch.

I totally agree with Jim! I love the minor variations in the surfaces, it truly looks like a real metal hull! The chipped insignia and corners and edges take it to the extreme in terms of realism! So very nice!

Cheers,
Eric.

Yes, indeed, it looks like real metal! I see two little interesting touches that make me feel like I'm not a complete bozo: 1) the jack in Dunkelgelb and 2) the tow cleats and shackles in red primer. I did both on a Jagdpanther, thinking that these details would suggest the late 1944 rush to get equipment replaced. Of course, my Jagdpanther is otherwise a far-far cry from Maxmekker's superior work.
