Rx18 problem feedback to sound

Thanks for the info Bubbajoexx. I've been following Darkith's RX18 diagram which reckons (using your colours) that blue is B- Green is   
Amp Input and Yellow is CpuFxOut. So I connected the sound card to the centre (green) wire. 

I'll give your solution a go.

ther pinout you have discribed is incorrect what i have posted is the correct pinout as per hl wiring schematics that i have from HL

use this layout for your connection as it is 100% correct as I have the schematics from HL for the RX18

Thanks Bubbajoexx. I'll certainly give it a go and e-mail Darkith about his diagram too. There must be hundreds of RX18 users out there using his DBC and making the same wrong connections.

Hi Nick still getting feedback.Tried all the things that have been told to cure it from Bubba and Darkith,reduced it slightly on one setup but just as loud on the other,have sent Dave(forgebear)a P.M to see if he has any RX14 boards need 3 of them will use the RX18 with BSU to use in gun positions.

Ok mate. Not pleased that you haven't got a good result yet.
I'm just wondering, like Rob, that RX-18's present a few and unresolved problems with some after market battle units.
I haven't got around to installing my new stuff from RC Command. I've got work tomorrow so I'll probably have a go with my new stuff sometime tomorrow night. I'll keep you in the loop on that respect and send you a text to let you know how I'm getting on.

Hi Nick the DBCs work correctly take hits and fire its just the feedback from the drive motors .It dosnt do it with rx13 or rx14 boards just the rx 18 which is a bit of a bummer I only have rx18 boards spare at the moment.So need 3 Rx14 boards hope someone has some ,had a look on e-bay and cant find any.

That's a real bummer Pete. Looks like we're back to square one with the RX18. Did you try a separate power pack as suggested by Creepingdeath?

Hi Chris Yes a backwards step,Yes tried 4 AA batteries didnt work right no amp so the sounds are really quite.Just hope someone has some Rx14 boards they dont need.
