NUMBER 10
Hello Gentlemen,
I must first apologize for a few things. One, sorry for the portrait view of this video. I recently got a new phone and the settings for the camera are quite different. I thought it was on the panorama setting but it wasn't (I really like "dumb" phones better). Two, sorry for the static camera shot. My Wife refuses to lay on the ground down there, unlike Jimster's very helpful Wife! I guess she has good reasons; we do have rattlesnakes there, as I can attest to having been bitten by one last fall. The tank now has a more realistic sound file loaded and user sounds too, so maybe another better video is in store?!
Okay so lots of firsts here. First upload of a video to anything or anywhere. And first RC tank. Taigen Tiger 1 mid version, all metal with recoil and Airsoft. Nearly stock exterior, added kill rings, some chains, coax MG, additional track links to the glacis plate, and
scale stahlhelms for the crew.
Interior wise it has an Elmod Fusion Pro board, G.I. Tank Smoker's Baroness 2 unit, and a Visaton FRS7 speaker. As you can see, my humble entry has no airbrushing or weathering. The only weathering it gets is when I run it into something! If you're a fan of smoke units, you can see how well the Baroness 2 works in breezy conditions.
With my next tank I hope to attempt some airbrushing and weathering techniques. I'm sure that will get ugly. My reintroduction to RC electronics wasn't very pretty at times either!
At any rate, her she is. I'll do better next time, honest, I promise, really I will!

German cars, German girls, German beer, German firearms, German Shepherds, German motorcycles... Not necessarily in that order though!

All these awesome Tigers!
Now that my new muzzle cover arrived from Imex and I found and reinstalled a lost part, I thought I would enter my initial production Tiger of the 502nd which was among the first 9 or so Tigers to see combat around September 19th 1942 in Russia. This way we have most eras covered from the earliest Tiger to the final Tigers lost in defense of Berlin!
All my modeling modifications have been aimed at reproducing a very accurate initial production Tiger. The paint is pretty scuffed up from hard driving so I didn’t really bother with any touch-ups.
I’ve animated the commander’s head just for the fun of it. Everything is still a work in progress of course. Link to build thread: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=26614&hilit=My+Tiger+project
It’s mostly a Taigen (5% Heng Long) with Mato tracks, Elmod Fusion Pro/ Radiomaster TX16S and DKLM PDSGB. I’ll spare you all the details and let the photos show you. The photo showing the old style convoy light was taken many months ago before the rear detail corrections were made. The interior shot shows my messy wiring. The video at the end is a compilation of some of my favorite clips. In the final scene you can see how I use my radio including using the left slider to turn the commander’s head back and forth and I’ve painted the main gun trigger red for fun of it. Hope you enjoy watching it!

My first panzer, it could only be a Tiger I.
Built on the shores of Lake Como, abused by subsequent owners, I bought it and put it back into service.
Petra is a Tiger I Tamiya, with handcrafted zimmerit.
Replaced the engines, changed or tracks, just out of the Patrie Officine waiting to have the opportunity to do a good photo shoot.

September Tiger1 Of The Month chat thread..
Wow, so much talent here!
spongehoobtank82, very nice. As a fan of BMW's, I'm pretty sure your rear light is very close to Bavarian Blue and not so much Prussian Blue. I have been called color blind before though!
Rad, got to love the look of Faust.
Ah Jimster, there's "Miss Leningrad"! All back from her spa day and ready to rumble! Nice video editing, that water still really freaks me out!
Met5, love the rough and unapologetic look of your Tiger.
So much to see and notice, super cool!
Decisions, decisions, decisions!
Best to all,
Eric.

It's a wasted trip. Nobody said anything about locking horns with Tigers.

Hey, diddle, diddle
The cat had a piddle
The cow slipped while trying to jump
The little dog laughed to see such fun
And the cow and the thread got a bump.
