I think that Tamiya has resolved the problem on their 1/14 trucks as the two l own move very realistically. These are heavy, use decent dampers, often oil filled and less springy leaf spring metals.

Sorry Rad, back to Your thread topic!!
You make my point for me,Tamiya's 1/14 Truck suspension is properly engineered and is more expensive by far than the price of a complete WPL/JJRC Truck.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Which for me makes buying a WPL truck or similar simply the act of buying a donor 1/16 body kit. You're right, Tamiyas parts are far more expensive.

What we need is a new budget manufacturer who produces decent 1/14 components but l guess our hobby isn't big enough to support such. In 1/10 racing there are lots of aftermarket quality but budget outfits, such as 3Racing but nothing for 1/16.

Well, some news here. This time I tried something new that I will implement in all my models. Short and long beams in the same led, switchable from the radio!

Short beam

Long beam is about 5 times more powerfull than the short one. In the picture it might not be too evident, but it is a hell of difference.

Dont pay too much attention at the electronics in the picture. Those are development boards. First I do tests, and then I miniaturize the system.

It is close to be finished, but I had to order some more electronic components in aliexpress today. It will delay the build two months...

Thanks mate! Yeah, this time it was some radio programming but also some electronic components were needed.

I did a couple of pics in darkness where the difference can be appreciated:

Yep, I know. Thanks to God my battlefield is based in a dystopian past, at the end of 1951, so it fits, lol.

I have been working a bit more on it. Last thing I did is to paint the number plates. And with the airbrush hot I decided to paint some more minefield signals for my battlefield

After that I painted the driver. It has a magnet in the ass, and another under the driving seat, so it will stay in place when driving like they stole it.

EDIT: The forum is a pain for uploading pics. I hate it >:<

Driver, driving.

Not even one wire can be seen, and that was quite a task to do. Dont forget it even has sound.
