Re: Want an RC Kubelwagen
These things aren’t cheap, especially for the rc version. Oh well, my birthday is coming up so I may just have to treat myself. I want to check out what Catherine has to say. I always prefer to support our own vendors when I can and she and Will are so kind.
WOW. That was fast!!

I’ve got the Pak 40 painted but not weathered. The trailer is proudly displayed nearby but I’ve only painted the fuel drums and Jerry can so far. I like having projects “waiting in the wings” so to speak. I still have an Opel Blitz/JJRC project waiting for me as well. Your business will keep me busy for quite a while and it’s cool having custom made models.

its great to hear you love the models, i spend alot of time making these for myself and i like to get stuck into the details. I feel very proud to be able to help others and especially my wife. I can see it making her smile and feeling good about her crafts.
Catherine & I know exactly how you feel about projects in the wings haha, i am always stuck in CAD developing something, just wish the days were longer haha
Take care and enjoy the models

Hi JImster,
If you are interested in the Abt 502, you may like these video histories of the Armee Gruppe Nord retreat from Leningrad. There is even some posed footage of Carius that looks like it was taken when he received his Knights Cross.
I'm impressed by the work of this young man. The graphics make it much easier than constantly referring to maps and a lot of cool archival footage used. Certainly opens your eyes regarding the number of non-German troops fighting the Russians.

Oh, oh,
Jim are you off your medications again? I foresee great things coming, agonizing over details, burning the midnight oil, more agonizing, Wife going "whatever, that's nice Honey". Did I mention more agonizing?!
Simply awesome, just got to love it. I'll be following along as usual.
Cheers,
Eric.
