I have been talking to Gary today via RCUs PM service and he asked me to explain to "Servus" that no offence was intended and he is sincerely sorry for any bad feeling,
I have since PMd Servus with Gary's message and further to my chat with my FRIEND he asked me to welcome any of us who want to continue our relationship with him to go to RCU where he can be found under the name of CRIUS..
I want it clearly understood that in my opinion what happened today was a very good example of how not to solve a problem and the sooner the ban is lifted the better,
I should perhaps add that Gary told me in words of anger that he has no desire to rejoin the Forum but perhaps after a nights rest we might all see a little more sense.
There are plenty of members of this Forum not the least of whom is me who have transgressed without warnings or penalty who are free still to mingle with us and it makes my blood boil when two overaged schoolboy's playground scuffle has the capacity to turn into a divisive war within the Forum.
Enough, let it stop here.

Speaking as a fellow American, I’ll buy a round for everyone if we can just forgive and forget and move forward. I’ve had to “edit” a post or two so how about a toast or two? Hey! I’m a poet!

We all face difficult times ahead and I am afraid to say that this is only the start of things to come .
What is needed is compassion in this new world we all face together , Surely a speedy response from moderators and a message to fix up posts is all that is required.
Over the last 7 months life as we know it has been turned upside down freedom of speech , individuality , what makes MAX really MAX.
70 years has passed since the last time citizens allowed this to happen let us not forget and repeat the same again
I have seldom read anything as kind hearted and magnanimous as this,
One can only hope that the powers that be get to read it

I don’t think it’s a secret, since I joined RCTW I’ve developed a fantastic relationship with Max/Gary, he’s a really nice bloke who will do absolutely anything to help you out when you need it.
Here is a good example of Gary and his really valuable input to our forum.
A question was asked recently about the difference between the 3:1 4:1 & 5:1 gearboxes & how they relate to scale speed. As normal the answers that were posted differed. Gary got involved & posted videos of the various gearboxes in action & did time comparisons over a set distance to check how the scale speed compared, he even posted videos driving up an incline to show the torque difference.
In my honest opinion, if Gary’s ban is permanent it will be a VERY sad day for RCTW!
Fingers crossed common sense will prevail!!!
Cheers

If you are going to allow this public discussion then we should be shown what was said that is considered offensive or this debate is meaningless and could falsely sway any decisions. With the facts in the open, the members could assist. Otherwise this thread would be better closed so that the powers that be can decide without unwanted pressure.

General J, I was on a 4 week diving holiday in the Indian Ocean,
When I got home and logged on to the Forum I discovered that in my absence General Alpha had been banned from the Forum,
I swore that should anyone who I considered a friend would never be thrown off of the Forum without my protestations being heard by all members.
If you like someone but will not come to their defence when they are being threatened they would not in my eyes be the kind of friend that I would acknowledge.
