Hmm..I was almost jesting about a '6.4' version of the TK unit, and then I went back to the Haya website and found this:

I think I posted this pic once before, and someone doubted that it was, in fact, a new iteration. However, I see that this unit has a 6V aux port. This is the port that was used in the Chieftain video to supply
the barrel LED. Note LED1 is for the 'muzzle flashlight', and LED2 is a 'laser light'. Is that the red laser barrel aiming light?
In any event, you can see that this has many of the same connectors as the TK 6.1s, but a separate ESC and sort of hexagonal shape. On the face of it, it's quite a departure from the norm.
Andrew describes it as the 'TK 6.4'. Mabe this is the one you want, Gary?
This is a genuine-sounding review I've just cut and pasted from the product on his website:-
"...Great upgrade for a heavy tank 04 July 2020
Loved this upgrade. Needed barrel recoil for a new turret, so bought this. The recoil is well timed with the bb launch and noise generator. The slow speed control is fantastic, especially on a tiger that now weighs 6kg. Very realistic. Easy to set up. The servo plugs straight in so no pulse generator needed. ( I have to alter servo for my recoil unit-different make). Like the spare ways for future upgrades and lights etc. Andrew and Linda are always very helpful and delivery is quick..."

Are we sure that the three holes on top of that smoker aren't two for output and one for filling fluid?

In other words you have no better knowledge than MAX.

Now all we need is someone who can say definitely that it may be or I have no idea but my horoscope says it might be

The problem is, that there's not enough (or scarcely any) product detail accompanying these bits and bobs.
I've just found another video of a Tiger with smokin' barrel, flash and recoil. It also has a red target laser. I'm guessing that the unit inside is a 'TK-6.4'.

It's amazing what you can find on Youtube, when there's nothing better to do. Following on from Gary's wish for the fully-featured BB system of recoil, smoke and BB, I chanced upon this fantastic German Leopard 2A6's performance. This tank actually fires bangers!

It's not merely the smoke trail, and the explosion, that impress mightily- but the remarkable range as well.
You can be sure, British law would prevent anyone from having fun like this in the UK

Hi. Bit late this answer but maybe helpful. I have an Xclusive Tiger 1/8 and it has the same controller. However, the receiver is labelled type 8 (not 6.4) and has a very different look and layout. Well-labelled though. Currently trying to get a new controller to link to it with some problems. Can’t get it to work properly. Maybe the controller that shipped although looks the same was not inside.

Also a bit late...I now have 3 HL 6.1s MFUs, two as upgrades, and one as the original in my Hooben T-55. The Forgebear kits are ideal as they include the wiring loom and Tx. They allow for servo barrel recoil and lifting (the motor option is there too), and LED flash (but can’t operate the xenon units). I really like them. FWIW,the barrel smoker units are separate from the exhaust smoke units, and both have air in and out pipes and a filler. One barrel smoker type on the market is triggered mechanically with a microswitch on the recoil unit, and the other (which I have, but haven’t yet fitted) is triggered electronically. From what I’ve seen, the smoke/flash sync is better with the electronic trigger, but I’ve yet to prove that. The only disadvantage compared to the 6.0 that I can see is that you can no longer separate taillight and headlight switching - even if they are plugged into the two labelled sockets LED3 and LED4. Also, if upgrading from HL 6.0, the IR sensor lead is connected with a different plug type from that on the 6.0. I’m now sitting on two 6.0 units as investments after the introduction of the 7.0....
