Started the schurzen plates today , after a bit swearing (again) Ive nearly done them . The plastic I used may be a bit to thick ? Ive heated each panel up and put in some bends etc . The mounting brackets I made from steel shim plate easy to bend and cut . I realised on some of the pictures of the end sections I have the mounting brackets wrong . Ive re done this now so they run with the end angle . The front section I have left until I put it all onto the tank.

Just to say all these schurzen panels and brackets have now been ditched . Im currently re making them . More improved . Will post picts asap.

Had a go at fixing the schurzen today . The idea was for it all to be removable ,with mixed results . Its not quiet how I want it but getting there . I agree with you Mart regarding the pining of the mounting brackets to the tank. Theres a lot there for just glue to hold .Ive still got some alterations to make the two brackets in the middle need altering , the outside two need a bit of adjustment . And Ive got to adjust a couple of hangers .  :-\ Oh and the two outside sections need angles cutting of them . I also need to make some more mounting brackets for the front section.

All these schurzen panels and brackets etc have been removed and Im curently re making them . More improved. Will post picts asap

Hi Rik ,
Thanks mate . Ive got a few bits to alter and tidy up a tad . The aim was to make them all removable as per the originals .

Hi all , I have now removed the hanging rail as I wasn't 100% happy with it I'm going to have another go as soon as I get time . I managed to save all the little hanging triangle sections tho  :D . I am also going to re make the brackets the brass I bought I had to file down to reduce the width as it was just to narrow to cut . So going to nip out today fingers crossed and get some more that's either bigger so it can be cut or the correct width.

Got some brass sheet from my model shop so going to re cut all the brackets and  know a bit more regarding the front brackets . I now have thinner styrene and this will be used for the skirts
