Its really nice that you were able to recreate the pit for the fighting compartment, while offering enclosed gearbox, gun elevation and horizontal movement. The design allows for further detailing, such as adding the driver's seat and controls, radio, ammos and equipment, and a crew such as the Vandra Models Pak gunners (below) that could easily be adapted. The gun is begging for a metal barrel and recoil tube but you have achieved great results on a complex undertaking.
Congrats,

Thank you Louis, your comment makes me proud

I agree, a metal barrel would be a revaluation but not easy to produce because of the guide rails welded to the gun tube. On the other hand the gun is small enough to print the tube without bending.

Again thank you for the hint of the Vandra PAK crew - I didn't know that!
First I've provided the Classy Hobby tank crew 16004 and 16005 because of their uniforms and the closed legs because of less ground space at the pit

...but the Vandra crew is more in action!

Hi,
I wonder if the Panzerjager 1 units were closer to the infantry than the panzer troops, similar to the independent stug units. From photographic evidences, the open compartment was making the crew wear steel helmets, infantry uniform and equipment for protection against the weather and enemy infantry. Lack of machinegun was also requiring them to use personal weapons for close quarter fighting. This AFV is a good base for a RC running diorama or dramatic fighting vignette. As such, regular infantry figures are probably better for this vehicle than Panzer crews.

Louis,

the Panzerjager units were attached mostly to tank divisions, so they had black tanker uniforms but also grey shirts. And for sure they wear helmets in the open compartment for beeing a little safer...

Let's go ahaead with the report.

Placing all stuff inside the hull…

The speaker is attached to the upper hull.

…and the „rest“ is attached to the lower hull.

After applying a Tamiya light grey primer, the tank shape is much better visible 8)

Just amazing how “busy” the gun mechanism is but it’s all crisp and defined.
Spectacular work mate

After a grey coat of Tamiya TS-4 it looks like straight from production line:

Hi Freddy,

Where did you source the gearboxes and motors for the drive?

TIA
Barry
